Ways in which you can contribute towards poverty eradication in Africa through AfricaWorks
Here at AfricaWorks we consider your donations an investment in the lives of vulnerable families, as your contribution is put into a business of sustainably growing the lives of the target group.
Your donations go towards the upliftment and sustainability of families in our country. A single donation can change a family’s life for their lifetime and will present the opportunity for this business to impact generations to come.
General Investments

Invest in the lives of the vulnerable through our Vurhonga Models
- Grand Gesture – US$ 20 000 – (or any contribution towards this)
- Once off Investment – This once off investment will sustain and change the lives of a family for their lifetime due to the strategic model developed by AfricaWorks. This investment can be within the following:
- Vurhonga Chicken Model: A chicken house with the capacity of 1000 chickens, approximately benefitting 5 family members indefinitely plus the sick and orphaned they look after (approximately 12 people will benefit from this donation)– US$ 5000 (US$ 2 500 facilitates inputs for the first cycle, US$ 2 500 goes towards building the chicken house)
- Vurhonga Irrigation Model: GRAND GESTURE: A 50 hectare irrigation scheme with input finance, benefitting approximately 100 vulnerable people and their families indefinitely plus the sick and orphaned they look after (12) Thus approximately 1200 people will benefit from this donation– US$55 000 or any contribution towards this.

10% of all investments go towards administration costs.
AfricaWorks is an affiliate of Partners Worldwide. Partners Worldwide (PWW) is a non-profit Christian Business Mission located in Grand Rapids, Michigan who handles most of AfricaWorks donations, which they transfer to the head office in Mozambique. Donors will receive a tax deductible receipt from Partners Worldwide upon donations. Except for a small charge for administering and wiring the money, almost the entire donation will get to AfricaWorks, Mozambique. AfricaWorks Mozambique is also self-sustaining, thus 100% of donated money goes into the loan pool.
